"Aces: Iron Eagle III"
I really struggle to understand why the producers even bother to tie this movie to the first two Iron Eagle movies. With the exception of Lou Gossett Jr. and aeroplanes this movie bears no relation whatsoever to the first two. Furthermore, after the bow office woes of the second I'm surprised they felt making a third was a good idea in any case. I wonder if it came out in theaters? Not really sure. Anyways, on to the good stuff! Lou reprises his role as "Chappy", an elderly black man who for unknown reasons is allowed to fly planes. I believe he was one of the Tuskegee airmen who survived the syphilis inoculations. Chappy falls in love with a woman whom I will call Brazilian lady Rambo because that is exactly who she is. Brazilian Lady Rambo's (BLR from now on) generic poor ass village gets taken over buy a cocaine dealing Nazi and being the Rambo type she tries to free it but because this is a movie made before the release of G.I. Jane, she inevitable fails and is captured. BLR quickly escapes (cocaine running nazis really should wise up and just kill prisoners right away) and makes her way back to the U.S.A. where she offers Chappy a B.J. a day for life if he will rescue the village. Chappy is totally down! First, Chappy talks to the Air force, he is clearly thinking, "let them do the dirty work while I gets the B.J.s!" but it turns out the General and the Nazi are old buddies! Now, clearly, any logical person would just try another branch of the military or really, any other government agency. I mean honestly, the Air Force probably wasn't that good a choice in the first place, what are they going to do? Bomb the village BLR wants to save? No, Chappy has a much better plan; use the oldest piece of shit planes he can find to attack the village causing the Nazi to have a PTSD flash back of WWII which is the last time these crappy planes were used. While the Nazi goes to therapy for his PTSD, Lou and some other old guys bomb the shit out of the village turning it into Dresden south and save the day. Chappy then gets his B.J.s. So what I'm really trying to say is I think Andrew Garcia, who is totally my favorite will be back but he's definitely slippin'
